Revit 2011 Secret #10 – Orient View to a Plane

When in 3D, you can now right-click the ViewCube and Orient the View to a Plane…

I think we had this feature a couple of years ago, but it wasn’t in 2010, but now it’s back! Very handy when working with weird angles and unusual profile sketches.

Actually it was...hidden...very well hidden! I used to think that too until someone pointed it out. It's not in the View Cube right-click menu, but the Steering Wheel right-click menu.

PS: I cannot post comments on IE7 because the verification window gets hidden under the Google frame below.
